The Shahzade Garden

The Shahzade Garden - Mahan This wonderful garden is one of the conspicuous gardens in the Kerman province which was built in the last years of Qajar dynasty, ordered by the Shahzade Abdolhamid Mirza Naser-O Dovle the governor of Kerman. The glorious edifice of this garden consists of the Shah Neshin edifice (in the south of the garden), and the entrance edifice which is a building in two floors, and a bath. In front of the main building there is a big pond with five beautiful fountains. The water of this pond, which originates from an underground aqueduct, spills in the canals round it(Pashoye) and then goes into the following ponds. One of the attractive features of this garden is its step technique for carrying water, and its ponds which are in the center of the garden. The green garden and Shirazi cedars round the ponds have also provided a picturesque scenery. This garden lies 6 Kilometers away from Mahan at the foot of Tigaran mounts
