The mausoleum of Sheykh Safi, the ancestor of Safavid kings, was erected by his son, Sadr Al-Din Mosa, in 735 A.H and developed in Safavid era some other parts were added. The main building is a high brick tower 22 meters high decorated with tiles and the name of Allah. It is the base of a beautiful and unadorned tomb. This mausoleum is considered as one of ten important ancient masterpieces of Iran. The main parts are: Jannat Sara mosque, portico or “ghandil Khaneh", Haram Khaneh, Chini Khaneh, Chelleh Khane, Allah Allah dome, shahidgah. In addition to Sheykh Safi, the tombs of Shah Ismaeel Safavi, Sheykh Ibrahim(the son of Khajeh Ali), and Sultan Heidar(the father of Shah Ismaeel) are located here.
