Falak-ol Aflak Castle It is one of old buildings belonging to Sasanid era which is located on a hill in the center of Khorram Abad. The Falak-ol Aflak castle was reconstructed in the early centuries of Islamic period and was used as the main site of Ale Hasanoviye.It was used as one of the main sites of Atabakan lurs. This castle has been used for military purposes from the Safavid era and has been repaired and reconstructed several times. The present castle is the result of reconstructions in Safavid and Qajar eras. The name “Falak.ol Aflak" is seemingly the name assigned to this castle in Qajar period. It has been previously called “Dej-e Shapurkhast", "Dezber" and “Khurramabad's castle". The castle has eight turrets. Some parts of this castle are used as the museum of earthenware and gun metal tools and utensils belonging to pre and post Islamic periods of Luristan.
