Oljayto Tomb Gonbade(dome) Soltaniyeh was built by Oljayto, Soltan Mohammad Khodabandeh. This building, concerning its architecture, is so beautiful that its bigness and decoration is known in the world. The tomb of Soltan Mohammad Khodabandeh is located inside the mosque. He built this dome as his last resting place. The construction of this building took 9 years, from 704 to 712 A.H. Sultaniye was one of the important and flourishing commercial cities in Iran. It had many mosques, schools, good hospitals, and many other welfare buildings, and abbeys.
